The Musée Cernuschi is a museum in Paris that is dedicated to Asian arts with a collection that focuses on the Far East: China, Japan, Korea. The Italian-French politician and economist Henri Cernuschi had left his collections in 1896 to the city of Paris, after which the Musée Cernuschi was opened to exhibit the collection. The museum is located in his stately private residence near the Parc Monceau where it houses over 12,000 works, making it one of the five largest collections of Chinese art in Europe.
