The Tudor mansion, set within a sprawling country park, provides an insight into English aristocratic life across centuries. The house itself contains period furnishings and art collections, allowing guests to explore its rich heritage. The surrounding gardens and parklands are particularly praised, featuring formal gardens, coastal walks, and stunning views across Plymouth Sound. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds and the opportunity for leisurely walks. The deer park is often mentioned as a highlight.
