The Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park is a wildlife park located near Nindorf, in the municipality of Hanstedt, in the northern German state of Lower Saxony. This park provides a unique opportunity for visitors to experience a wide variety of wildlife in a natural setting.
The park is home to approximately 1,000 animals of over 120 species, spread across an area of 61 hectares. This vast diversity of wildlife offers visitors a chance to observe and learn about a wide range of animals in their natural habitats.
From April to October, the park offers educational presentations such as "The animal my friend", which highlights the learning abilities of birds of prey and other animals, "Hunters of the air", where falconers demonstrate the speed and agility of eagles, falcons, and vultures, and "Faszination Wolf", a lecture about the ancestors of our domesticated dogs at the wolf enclosure. There are also otter feedings. These presentations provide an engaging and informative experience for visitors.
