The Holmer Mühle is a protected watermill situated on the Lower Saxony Mill Road (No. 111). This historic mill is a part of the Holm estate, which is privately owned. The mill's location, directly on the Seeve river, adds to its charm and historical significance.
Every second Saturday of the month, association members operate the Holmer Mühle. During these days, visitors can experience the mill in operation, purchase freshly baked bread, and enjoy guest catering. This provides a unique opportunity to experience the mill's historical function in a modern context.
In addition to its historical significance, the Holmer Mühle also serves as a cultural hub. It is a venue for concerts, art exhibitions, readings, and an annual crafts market. These events provide an opportunity for visitors to engage with local culture and arts in a unique setting.
