The Lista Museum, formerly known as Listamuseet, is a multi-departmental museum located in various locations within the Farsund municipality in Agder county. It is part of the larger Vest-Agder Museum network, offering a diverse range of exhibits and historical insights.

Friluftstunet in Vanse

One of the departments of the Lista Museum is the Friluftstunet in Vanse, established after the Second World War. This open-air museum features the Midthasselhuset, a house dating back to 1742, along with a storehouse, barn, mill house, a 'kjune' which is a traditional drying house for grain, and a potato cellar. These structures provide a glimpse into the agricultural practices of the past.

Nordberg Fort

Another significant part of the Lista Museum is the Nordberg Fort, considered Northern Europe's best-preserved German coastal fort. The fort, protected by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage, spans over 70 acres and houses 17 authentic buildings from the Second World War. This site offers a unique opportunity to explore a significant part of European wartime history.
