Kidspace Children's Museum is a unique educational institution situated in Pasadena, California. It is conveniently located next to the Rose Bowl, in the former Fannie E. Morrison Horticultural Center. This location provides an enriching environment for children to learn and explore.
Since its relocation to Brookside Park in Pasadena in December 2004, Kidspace Children's Museum has been a hub for creative and interactive learning for children in the local community. The museum offers a variety of exhibits and programs designed to stimulate curiosity and foster a love of learning.
The museum initially opened its doors in the Rosemont Pavilion on Arroyo Seco parkland, featuring hands-on exhibits. The design and construction of these exhibits were the result of community collaborations with esteemed organizations such as NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Art Center College of Design, and UNOCAL.
Kidspace expanded its facilities by creating an outdoor physics-related area on the east side of the property. This area, known as Robert & Mary Galvin Physics Forest, covers almost an acre and features 13 exhibits, all nestled under a canopy of trees. This unique space offers children the opportunity to learn about physics in a fun and engaging way.
