La Casa das Rosas, located at 37 Avenida Paulista in the city of São Paulo, is a significant cultural landmark. The building was designed by the Ramos de Azevedo studio and completed in 1935. It served as a residence until 1986, when it was expropriated by the São Paulo state government.
In 1991, a cultural space named Casa das Rosas was inaugurated. The name, which translates to 'House of Roses', was inspired by the property's large and beautiful rose garden. This garden is one of the most significant and beautiful in the city, making it a point of interest for visitors.
Since 2004, the Casa has been transformed into the Haroldo de Campos Space for Poetry and Literature. It is managed by professor and poet Frederico Barbosa. This transformation has made the Casa a hub for literary enthusiasts, offering a unique experience for visitors interested in poetry and literature.
