Herningsholm is a historical manor house dating back to 1579, situated in the northeastern part of Herning. It holds the distinction of being the oldest building in Herning. The manor was originally constructed in the Renaissance style by a nobleman named Josva von Qualen.
Currently, the Herningsholm manor is home to the Herningsholm Museum. The museum provides insights into the life and works of the author Steen Steensen Blicher, who lived from 1782 to 1848. Visitors have the opportunity to view several of Blicher's original manuscripts and first editions of his works.
