The German Architecture Museum (Deutsches Architekturmuseum) is a museum in Frankfurt, that is housed in an 18th-century building with re-designed interior by Oswald Mathias Ungers from 1984. The museum holds a collection of around 180,000 architectural drawings and 600 models. The collection includes works by architects such as Erich Mendelsohn, Mies van der Rohe, Archigram and Frank O. Gehry. The German Architecture Museum features a permanent exhibition called "From Ancient Huts to Skyscrapers" that illustrates the history of architectural development in Germany and has several temporary exhibitions every year.
