The Feza Gürsey Science Center (FGBM) is situated in the Altındağ district of Ankara, within the Altınpark. It was established with the aim of providing a fun and engaging environment for students to learn the basic principles of science. This makes it an ideal destination for families with children who are interested in science.
The Feza Gürsey Science Center was established by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality on April 23, 1993. It houses 48 experimental and exhibition units, offering a wide range of scientific experiments and exhibits for visitors to explore and learn from.
The idea of establishing a science center in Ankara was inspired by a visit to the Ontario Science Centre (OSC), one of the world's largest science centers, by officials from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. This connection to a globally recognized science center adds to the prestige and interest of the Feza Gürsey Science Center.
