Camille Lemonnier Museum and its collection

The Camille Lemonnier Museum is dedicated to the life and work of Belgian Francophone writer and art critic Camille Lemonnier. He was the author of naturalistic works about the hard life of workers in his time. The museum displays a reconstruction of Lemonnier's workspace. It also displays a collection of painting and sculpture from the 19th century. Among others, the museum displays works by Émile Claus, Adrien-Joseph Heymans, Théo Van Rijsselberghe, Auguste Rodin, Jef Lambeaux and Charles Vanderstappen.
