This museum is closed permanently.
The Nieuwe Land Erfgoedcentrum illustrates the story of the largest land reclamation project in the world, the Zuiderzee project. The permanent exhibition covers the prehistory in Flevoland, the fight against water and the past and future of the region. The stories of people who lived in the area bring visitors closer to its history. There are three presentations in the museum especially for children. In addition to the permanent collection, there are also smaller changing exhibitions on various subjects.
