The aquarium is home to a couple of hundred different types of fish and marine invertebrates, housed in tanks that reproduce the aquatic environment of the Seine, the English Channel, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean, and the lagoons of Caledonia and Polynesia. In addition to the actual fish, there are several rooms with large screens on which documentaries are projected.

Aquarium de Paris - CineAqua Reviews

Aquarium de Paris - CineAqua has 1 rating.

  • Apollo's Insights AI-Generated

The Aquarium de Paris - CineAqua offers visitors an underwater experience in the heart of the French capital. Located near the Eiffel Tower, this aquarium houses a variety of marine life, including sharks, jellyfish, and colorful tropical fish. Many visitors appreciate the diverse exhibits and the opportunity to see sea creatures up close. The touch pools and feeding shows are often mentioned as highlights, particularly for families with children.

However, some visitors find the aquarium smaller than expected, especially considering the admission price. The layout can feel cramped during busy periods, which might detract from the overall experience. While the exhibits are generally well-maintained, a few reviewers note that some tanks could benefit from better upkeep or renovation.

The cinema aspect of CineAqua, which includes short films about marine life, receives mixed reviews. Some find it educational and entertaining, while others feel it doesn't add significant value to the visit.

Despite these drawbacks, many visitors still find the aquarium to be an enjoyable and educational experience, particularly on rainy days in Paris or for those traveling with children. The central location and the opportunity to see a variety of aquatic life make it a convenient option for tourists exploring the city.
