Dreieichenhain is a historic district of the town of Dreieich, located in the German state of Hesse, south of Frankfurt am Main. The settlement's history dates back to medieval times, and it is known for its well-preserved old town center with traditional half-timbered houses and the prominent Hayn Castle (Burg Hayn), which was built in the 13th century.
This castle served as a residence for the Lords of Hagen-Münzenberg and later the Lords of Falkenstein. The historic atmosphere of Dreieichenhain is maintained through its narrow cobblestone streets and medieval city walls, parts of which still stand today. The area has developed into a cultural center within the region, hosting various cultural events and maintaining its architectural heritage while integrating modern amenities.
