Contemporary art museums in Balearic Islands

Can Prunera, also known as Can Magraner, is a museum of modernist art located in Sóller, Mallorca, Spain. The museum is housed in a monumental building that was constructed between 1909 and 1911 by Joan Magraner Oliver, a Sóller immigrant who had made his fortune in the fruit business in France. The architecture of the building reflects the modernist style that was popular in Sóller at the time, with a particular emphasis on French Art Nouveau, a result of the city's close ties with France.

The Liedtke Museum, located in La Mola, Puerto de Andrach, Mallorca, is a cultural institution that was designed and built by the artist Dieter Walter Liedtke between 1987 and 1993. The museum was officially opened to the public in 1993.
