The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, also referred to as the Great Mosque, is a significant landmark in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was inaugurated for worship in 2007 as a tribute to the nation's founder and former President, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who passed away in 2004. The mosque is among the largest in the world, with a capacity to accommodate 40,000 worshippers at a time.
