Zoo Montana Reviews

Zoo Montana has 1 rating.

  • Apollo's Insights AI-Generated

Zoo Montana in Billings offers a modest but enjoyable experience for visitors. The zoo features a variety of animals, including native species and some exotic creatures. While not as large as metropolitan zoos, it provides an intimate setting where visitors can get close to the animals. The zoo's focus on education and conservation is evident through its programs and exhibits.

Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds and the friendly, knowledgeable staff. The zoo's layout is manageable, making it suitable for families with young children or those who prefer a more relaxed pace. Some popular attractions include the tiger exhibit, the grizzly bear habitat, and the river otter enclosure.

However, some reviewers note that the zoo's size and animal variety are limited compared to larger facilities. This can lead to shorter visit times and potentially less value for the admission price. Additionally, some exhibits may appear dated or in need of upgrades.

Despite these limitations, Zoo Montana generally receives positive feedback for its efforts in animal care and community engagement. The zoo often hosts special events and educational programs, which add value to the experience. While it may not be a full-day destination for most visitors, it offers a pleasant outing for animal lovers and families in the Billings area.
