The Zehntscheune in Balingen, located at Neue Straße 59, is a protected cultural monument. This historical building is a significant part of the city's heritage and offers a glimpse into its past. It is a long, massive structure with several differently sized arched doors facing the street. The building is crowned with a multi-storey saddle roof.
The Zehntscheune underwent renovation from 1986 to 1990 and was converted into a city museum. Today, it houses the local history museum and the Friedrich-Eckenfelder Gallery. One of the outstanding exhibits is the coat of arms of Duke Johann Friedrich, which was previously located in the city church.
