Woodburn, also known as the Woodburn Plantation, is an antebellum house located near Pendleton in Anderson County, South Carolina. It was built as a summer home by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney around 1830. The house is a significant historical site, having been named to the National Register of Historic Places on May 6, 1970. It is also part of the Pendleton Historic District.
Woodburn is currently a museum home managed by the Pendleton Historic Foundation. It is open to the public on Sunday and Saturday afternoons from April to October. Visitors can explore eighteen furnished rooms on three floors, offering a glimpse into the past. Adjacent to Woodburn is the Pendleton District Agricultural Museum, providing further insight into the region's history.
