One of the unique features of Wolcott Mill Metropark is its 250-acre (101 hectares) working farm. Visitors can observe a variety of farm animals such as dairy cows, chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, and horses. The farm also grows a variety of crops, providing a real-life glimpse into farm life.
The park's namesake, Wolcott Mill, was built in 1847 and operated until 1967. It served as both a grist and a feed mill. Today, visitors can still view the machinery used in the mill, offering a glimpse into the past and the industrial history of the area.
