The Wintersportmuseum Mürzzuschlag is situated in the town of Mürzzuschlag, within the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag in the northeast of Styria, Austria. This location is significant as it is the birthplace of alpine skiing in Central Europe, thanks to the pioneering efforts of local innkeeper Toni Schruf and Graz champagne manufacturer Max Kleinoscheg.
