White Oak Conservation is a vast 17,000-acre conservation center located in northeastern Florida. It is a part of Walter Conservation and is dedicated to the conservation of endangered and threatened species. The center is home to a variety of species including rhinoceros, okapi, bongo antelope, zebras, dama gazelles, and cheetahs. The conservation efforts at White Oak are part of a larger initiative by the Walter family to conserve rare species and wild places around the world.
White Oak Conservation has been successful in breeding, researching, and conserving a wide variety of species. The center has made significant strides in combating the decrease in wild populations of the species it conserves. Almost all of these decreases can be attributed to habitat loss, farming, and poaching. Through its efforts, White Oak has been able to contribute to the survival of several rare species.

White Oak Conservation in Yulee, Florida, is a wildlife conservation center that offers a unique experience for visitors interested in endangered species and conservation efforts. The facility houses a variety of animals, including rhinos, cheetahs, and okapi, in spacious natural habitats. Visitors appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the opportunity to learn about conservation efforts. The guided tours provide an informative and up-close look at the animals, though some visitors note that tour availability can be limited. The center's commitment to animal welfare and conservation is evident, but it's important to note that this is not a traditional zoo experience. Some visitors mention that the price can be higher compared to other wildlife attractions, but many feel it's justified by the quality of the experience and the center's mission. The secluded location adds to the peaceful atmosphere but may require some planning to visit. Overall, White Oak Conservation offers a rewarding experience for those interested in wildlife conservation, though it may not be suitable for those seeking a more conventional animal viewing experience.
