Preserved Buildings at the Voss Folkemuseum

The courtyard of the Voss Folkemuseum currently houses 16 buildings, with eight buildings attributed to each of the two historical uses. These buildings have been preserved in their original state, providing a snapshot of life as it was when the last family vacated the premises in 1927.

In 1985, the Voss Folkemuseum was expanded with a separate collection and exhibition building designed by architect Dag Mossige. This building hosts a large basic exhibition that provides insights into the rural community of Voss up until the end of the 19th century.
