The Vocal Group Hall of Fame, located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, was a renowned institution dedicated to honoring vocal groups from the United States. It was a place where visitors could learn about the history and contributions of these groups to the music industry.
In 2002, The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Foundation acquired the Columbia Theatre, a historic building constructed in 1922 with a seating capacity of 1750. This theater, one of the first Warner Brothers theaters, became the new home for the museum's extensive collection of memorabilia.
Unfortunately, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, including the theater and the museum, had to close its doors to the public in 2008 due to financial constraints. This marked the end of an era for this institution that had been a beacon for fans of vocal groups.
