The University of Central Florida's Arboretum is a sprawling 80-acre garden located on the main campus in Orlando, Florida. It is home to over 600 species of plants, including a collection of more than 100 bromeliads. This diverse array of flora offers visitors a chance to explore and learn about different plant species in a cultivated setting.
The Arboretum offers approximately 3 miles of walking and biking trails that wind through the scrub and longleaf communities. These Natural Areas are open to the public every day of the year from sunrise to sunset. Visitors are welcome to bring their pets, provided they are kept under control and on a 6-foot leash. For those interested in a more structured experience, group tours can be arranged by reservation.
