The Tulsa Botanic Garden is a large botanical garden spanning 170 acres. It is situated at 3900 Tulsa Botanic Drive, which is about 8 miles northwest of downtown Tulsa, in Osage County, Oklahoma. This location makes it easily accessible for tourists visiting the city.
The Tulsa Botanic Garden hosts several annual events that attract many visitors. One of these is the Botanic Garden Of Lights festival, which has been held every winter since 2018. Another popular event is Autumn in the Botanic Garden, which features a display and contest of scarecrows made by community members. Additionally, the Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS event is one of the largest spring flower displays in the state of Oklahoma, showcasing over 200,000 daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, and other spring flowering bulbs.
The Tulsa Botanic Garden has a fundraising campaign with a goal to raise $17 million. This fund will be used to construct four gardens. The A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces will be a formal garden, set on four acres, showcasing a variety of colors and textures throughout the season with ornamental plants including perennials, shrubs, and bulbs. The Children’s Discovery Garden is designed as a “wonderland” environment to provide experience-based learning for children and families. The Lotus Pool will feature aquatic plants, like lotus and water lilies, and will be surrounded by the circular All Seasons Garden that will be filled with plants throughout the year.

Tulsa Botanic Garden has 1 rating.
The Tulsa Botanic Garden offers visitors a pleasant outdoor experience with a variety of well-maintained gardens and natural landscapes. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful flower displays, especially during peak blooming seasons. The garden features a large pond with walking trails, providing opportunities for leisurely strolls and enjoying nature. The children's garden is often highlighted as a fun and educational area for families. However, some visitors note that the garden is still developing, and certain areas may feel incomplete or sparse. The admission price is considered reasonable by most, though some feel it could offer more given the current state of development. While the garden receives praise for its peaceful atmosphere and potential, a few visitors mention that it may not yet rival more established botanical gardens in larger cities. The staff is generally described as friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, the Tulsa Botanic Garden is seen as a growing attraction with room for improvement but already offering a pleasant experience for nature enthusiasts and families alike.
