Opened in 1993, the museum showcases over 1500 exhibits from transmitter technology. A special highlight is the Tegel transmitter, which was relocated to Königs Wusterhausen in 1948 and remains in working condition. This provides a unique opportunity for visitors to see a piece of functioning historical technology.
Since its reopening in July 2007, the museum has been offering a variety of activities and events. These include activities for children, radio technology exchanges, special exhibitions, such as an exhibition on the development of television in Germany in 2014, and public events. These offerings provide a diverse and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
