The Froissy–Dompierre narrow-gauge railway, also known as P'tit Train de la Haute Somme, is a 7 km long railway with a gauge of 600 mm. It runs from Froissy, a district of La Neuville-lès-Bray, to Dompierre-Becquincourt, passing through Cappy in the Somme department in France. This railway offers a unique experience of travelling through the beautiful landscapes of the region.
The museum railway is now operated by the APPEVA (Association Picarde pour la Préservation et l'Entretien des Véhicules Anciens) and is known as P'tit Train de la Haute Somme. It is the last operating 600-mm narrow-gauge railway of the trenches of the First World War. This unique feature makes it a fascinating destination for those interested in history and railways.
The museum in Froissy was opened in 1996 and offers a wide range of exhibits. The APPEVA took over the vehicles of the sugar factory and acquired locomotives and wagons from all over France and abroad. These exhibits provide a fascinating insight into the history of the railway and the region.
