Tierpark Gotha is a small zoo nestled at the foot of the Kleinen Seeberg in the city of Gotha. It spans an area of approximately 6 hectares, providing ample space for visitors to explore and enjoy the diverse range of animals housed within its premises.
The zoo is home to around 600 animals from about 140 different species. This includes a variety of European animals such as owls, beavers, wolves, and bison. Additionally, visitors can also observe rare domestic and farm animals, providing a unique and diverse animal viewing experience.
In addition to its animal exhibits, Tierpark Gotha also offers two playgrounds for children and a café managed by the zoo's support association. Visitors can also enjoy carriage rides through the zoo and participate in feeding demonstrations, adding to the overall visitor experience.
