Well worth the 1 hour drive we took up to the museum! The tour was incredibly informative (Adam was an absolute star of guide) and there were plenty of interesting sights to see. It was a really balanced mix of exhibits and an immersive mine experience. The gift shop has a very expansive mix of gemstones and minerals, and anyone you talk to will have something fun to share with you. Bring comfortable shoes and a jacket if you're going on the tour!
