The Royal Stables - The Royal Palace (H.M. Konungens Hovstall) is a stable in Stockholm. The Royal Stables are Swedish cultural heritage with its magnificent carriages, parade uniforms and harnesses. The approximately 50 horse-drawn carriages, sleighs and coaches are kept there, together with the cars of the royal family and about 20 horses can be visited on guided tours. The 16 horses of the stable all belong to the breed Swedish Warmblood and are of fox color to create a uniform impression. The horses are ridden daily regardless of any public assignments.

The Royal Stables at the Royal Palace in Stockholm offer visitors a glimpse into the history and tradition of the Swedish monarchy's equestrian culture. Located in the heart of Stockholm, this museum showcases the royal carriages, harnesses, and other horse-related artifacts. Visitors appreciate the well-preserved historical items and the opportunity to see the working stables. The guided tours are informative, providing interesting facts about the royal horses and the role of the stables in state ceremonies. However, some guests note that the exhibition space is relatively small and the visit can be quite brief. The museum's opening hours are limited, which can be inconvenient for some tourists. Despite these minor drawbacks, many find the Royal Stables to be an interesting addition to their visit to the Royal Palace complex, especially for those interested in royal history or equestrian traditions.
