The Mauksch-Hintz house houses the first pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca. Casa Hintz is now home to the Historical Collection of Pharmacy (Pharmacy History Collection), a collection that belongs to the National History Museum of Transylvania, displayed in four rooms and in the basement. Visitors to Casa Hintz can visit the office, the storeroom and the laboratory. The office still has features from the 18th century pharmacy with its original fresco's with pharmaceutical symbols on the ceiling.
