The Open Air Village Museum in Lublin is one of the biggest open air museums in Poland. The museum is dedicated to illustrating the cultural diversity of the province and holds a collection of items related to the former life in the village, in the manor and in the small town. Furthermore, the museum aims to preserve the knowledge about customs, rituals, traditions and everyday work of the people living in the past. The museum is divided into various sectors that reflect the landscape and ethnographic diversification of the Lublin region: Lublin Upland, Roztocze, Vistula Region, Podlasie and Bug Region, manorial and provincial town sectors.
