The Justice Museum, also known as Justismuseet, located in Trondheim, is Norway's national museum dedicated to the police, judiciary, and penal system. The museum was initially established in 2001 under the name Norwegian Legal Museum, or Norsk rettsmuseum, and was renamed to its current title in 2016.
The Justice Museum boasts a collection of approximately 20,000 exhibits, making it one of the largest repositories of police and legal history in Norway. The museum's collection includes objects from police museums in Oslo, Trondheim, and Bergen.
The Justice Museum is situated at Kongens gate 95. It is open to the public from Tuesday to Friday, between 10 am and 3 pm, and on the first Sunday of every month, from 12 pm to 4 pm. As of 2018, there is no admission fee to visit the museum.
