The Egypt Centre at Swansea University

The Egypt Centre, a museum dedicated to Ancient Egypt, is housed in the Taliesin building on the university's campus. It is freely accessible to everyone, including non-students. The museum's collection comprises over 4,000 pieces, most of which were collected by pharmacist Sir Henry Wellcome. Other pieces have been donated by the British Museum, the Royal Edinburgh Museum, the National Museums and Galleries of Wales Cardiff, the Royal Albert Museum and Art Gallery, and private individuals.
