The Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing in Brockville, Canada, offers an engaging experience focused on the aquatic life and maritime history of the St. Lawrence River. Visitors appreciate the interactive exhibits and hands-on activities, which are particularly appealing to families with children. The touch tank and otter habitat are frequently mentioned as highlights, providing up-close encounters with marine life. The facility is generally well-maintained and clean, with staff described as friendly and knowledgeable.
While many find the admission price reasonable for the content offered, some visitors feel it's a bit steep, especially for larger families. The museum's size is compact, which some find charming, while others wish for more extensive exhibits. A few reviews mention that some interactive elements or exhibits were occasionally out of order, which can be disappointing.
The Aquatarium's location on the waterfront adds to its appeal, with scenic views complementing the indoor experience. However, some visitors note that a full tour of the facility can be completed relatively quickly, potentially leaving those expecting a longer visit wanting more.
Overall, The Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing provides an educational and entertaining experience, particularly strong in engaging younger visitors with the region's aquatic environment and history. While it may not be an all-day destination, it offers a solid few hours of exploration and learning about the St. Lawrence River ecosystem.
