The Texas Museum of Science & Technology, located in Cedar Park, Texas, opened its doors in March 2015. It is home to the first planetarium in the Austin area, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the cosmos. The museum also hosts a variety of traveling exhibitions, providing a constantly changing array of scientific and technological displays. One of the permanent exhibits at the museum is the Timewalk exhibit, which showcases a collection of fossils and dinosaur bones that have toured the world.
The museum features two permanent exhibit spaces. The first is a 33-foot geodesic dome planetarium, where visitors can enjoy live star shows and pre-rendered movies throughout the day. This immersive experience allows guests to explore the universe in a unique and engaging way. The second permanent exhibit is the Timewalk exhibit, which takes visitors on a journey through time, showcasing life on Earth from the earliest fossils to the Age of Mammals.
