Tegneseriemuseet and its collection

Tegneseriemuseet
Source

The Tegneseriemuseet in Norway, established in 1996 by the Norwegian Comic Forum, is a significant institution in the country's comic scene. It took over the collections from the Comic Academy, which was established in 1970, and the National Comic Archive, which was established in 1987. This history gives the museum a rich collection of comics and related materials, making it a fascinating destination for comic enthusiasts.

Location and Exhibitions of Tegneseriemuseet

Originally located in Oslo, the Tegneseriemuseet moved to Brandbu in the Gran municipality in 2000. Today, the museum boasts 700 m² of exhibitions and 700 shelf meters housing about 200,000 objects.
