TeamLab Borderless is a unique immersive and digital art museum that was launched in 2018 in Tokyo. The museum was designed and created by TeamLab, an international creative group consisting of various specialists including artists, programmers, engineers, animators, mathematicians, and architects. The aim of the museum is to explore the relationship between the self, the world, and new perceptions through art, as well as the continuity of time.

Location and Exhibitions

The TeamLab Borderless museum is situated in the Mori Building of Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, within the Palette Town complex. The museum spans an impressive 10,000 square meters and features five different interactive exhibitions. This vast space allows for a truly immersive experience, where visitors can explore and interact with the digital art installations.

Artworks and Technology

The digital art museum showcases around 60 digital artworks, which are created using 520 computers and 470 high-brightness and performance projectors. These projectors are sourced from renowned Japanese manufacturers such as Epson and Panasonic. This high-tech setup allows the artworks to be displayed in a dynamic and immersive way, providing visitors with a unique and unforgettable experience.
