The Tabor-Wing House, located on NY 22 in Dover Plains, New York, is a historic frame house built in 1810. It was constructed by a prominent local family and remains relatively intact today. The Tabor-Wing House was recognized for its historical significance and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. From 1979 to 2003, it served as the home of the Dover Plains Library. Inside the Tabor-Wing House, the entrance hallway divides two large parlors, which retain much of their original finishing. This includes carved moldings and mantels, original wall and ceiling plaster, and flooring. The original fireplace and bake oven are still present in the kitchen wing, offering a unique glimpse into the past.
