The Sutton-Ditz House, located in Clarion, Pennsylvania, is a historic home and museum. Constructed in 1847 and later remodeled in 1909-1910, the house is a testament to the architectural styles of the time. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
The Sutton-Ditz House is a 2.5-story brick building, built in the Classical Revival style on a sandstone foundation. Originally, it was constructed in the Greek Revival style. The front facade of the house features a full 2.5-story, pedimented portico supported by Ionic order columns, which were added during the 1909 remodeling.
In 1975, the Sutton-Ditz House was purchased by the Clarion County Historical Society. Today, it serves as the location for the Society's museum, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the history of Clarion County.
