The Städtisches Museum Schloss Salder is the main museum of the city of Salzgitter, located in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated in the historic Schloss Salder and its associated outbuildings, offering a unique blend of history and culture in a picturesque setting.
The museum complex is expansive, encompassing the castle building which houses the first part of the permanent exhibition on city history. Other features include the barn with the sheepfold, the museum café for refreshments, the administration building, and the special exhibition building known as the "Kuhstall". The "horse stable" contains the second part of the permanent exhibition on city history, and there are also workshops within the complex.
