Søgne gamle prestegård, or Søgne Old Vicarage, is a significant historical site in Søgne, Agder. It is a medieval vicarage and holds the distinction of being the first registered farm in the area. This makes it a site of considerable historical interest, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's past.
In 1989, the Vest-Agder county and Søgne municipality came together to form the Søgne Gamle Prestegård foundation. This foundation utilizes the old buildings on the farm as a cultural center, offering a variety of activities and resources such as local history literature, art, music, theater, film, dance, activities for the elderly, a stage for youth, and a culture school.
On the grounds outside the vicarage, visitors can find the Søgnesteinen, a roughly two-meter-high runestone. The stone bears the inscription: "Øyvind raised this stone in memory of Gunnvald, his son". This runestone adds to the historical significance of the site and offers a unique glimpse into the region's past.
