The Sivas Congress and Ethnography Museum is situated on İnönü Boulevard in Sivas, Turkey. This location is easily accessible and is surrounded by two medieval schools, Şifahiye Medrese and Buruciye Medrese, which are to the east of the museum. The museum building itself was originally a high school, built in 1892 by Mehmet Mazlum Bey, the then governor of Sivas.
The museum's exhibits are diverse and rich in cultural heritage. The ethnography section houses items such as coins, calligraphy, and paintings, which were donated by Turan Türkeroğlu. There is also a collection of Sivas rugs and a 12th-century wooden mimber (pulpit) from Divriği castle mosque. Additionally, items from the Divriği Ulu Mosque are also on display.
The museum also features a section dedicated to Atatürk and the Congress. This section includes a room where the congress was held, a telegraph room, which was the only means of communication in 1919, and a printing room. Copies of documents from that period are also on display, providing a glimpse into the historical events that took place.
