The SCAD Museum of Art is home to the Walter O. Evans Collection of African American Art, one of the largest collections of its kind in the United States. This collection includes prized works by renowned artists such as Edward Mitchell Bannister, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Robert S. Duncanson, Richard Hunt, and Jacob Lawrence.

The SCAD Musuem of Art is installing new exhibitions in preparation for our Fall opening reception on September 26. Select galleries are open daily and the cost of admission fluctuates per day. We suggest purchasing tickets at the museum when you arrive.
