The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich, England, offers a diverse collection of art and artifacts spanning various cultures and time periods. Visitors appreciate the museum's striking modern architecture, designed by Norman Foster, which provides a spacious and well-lit environment for viewing the exhibits. The permanent collection features an eclectic mix of works, including pieces from ancient civilizations, modern and contemporary art, and ethnographic objects.

Many reviewers highlight the quality and range of temporary exhibitions, which often showcase both established and emerging artists. The museum's connection to the University of East Anglia is seen as a positive, contributing to its academic atmosphere and educational value.

The sculpture park surrounding the building receives praise for its pleasant outdoor space and interesting artworks. Some visitors note that the cafe offers good quality food and drinks, though a few mention it can be pricey.

On the downside, some reviewers find the museum's location slightly out of the way from Norwich city center. A few visitors mention that the collection, while interesting, may not be extensive enough to warrant a long visit for those seeking a more comprehensive art museum experience.

Overall, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is generally well-regarded for its unique architecture, diverse collection, and temporary exhibitions, making it a worthwhile destination for art enthusiasts and those interested in experiencing a modern art space in Norwich.
