Rika's Landing Roadhouse, also known as Rika's Landing Site or McCarty Roadhouse, is a historic rest house located at Mile 274.5 on the Richardson Highway in Big Delta, Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. It is situated within the Big Delta State Historical Park and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1976. The roadhouse is named after Rika Wallen, who received it from John Hajdukovich and managed it for many years.
The roadhouse was a significant crossing over the Tanana River and was established to make the journey of travelers more pleasant by offering meals, sleeping quarters, and selling equipment. These roadhouses were typically located 15-20 miles apart. The Tanana River was one of the largest rivers that had to be crossed on this route, and a ferry was set up directly above the confluence of the Tanana River and Delta River.
