Riel House, also known as Louis-Riel-Haus, is a significant part of Canada's history and is recognized as one of the National Historic Sites. Riel House as a Museum

In 1968, the Winnipeg Historical Society purchased the Riel House and converted it into a museum. The house is surrounded by a 1.09 ha city park, providing a serene environment for visitors. Since 1970, the house has been managed by Parks Canada, ensuring its preservation and maintenance. Furthermore, the Louis-Riel-Institute has been organizing tours and programs at the house since 2013, providing an informative and engaging experience for visitors.
