The Czartoryski Museum (Czartoryski Palace Museum) is a museum in Krakow that was founded by Princess Izabela Czartoryska in 1796 (firstly not in Krakow, but in Puławy) to preserve Polish heritage. The collection contains historical artifacts from the recovered treasures of the Wawel Cathedral, the Royal Castle and other objects donated by Polish noble families. The masterpiece of the collection is a painting by Leonardo da Vinci, The Lady with the Ermine. Another highlight of the collection are two works by Rembrandt.

Princes Czartoryski Museum has 1 rating.
The Princes Czartoryski Museum in Kraków, Poland, offers visitors a glimpse into Polish history and European art. Housing a diverse collection of artifacts and artworks, the museum is known for its most famous piece, Leonardo da Vinci's "Lady with an Ermine." The recently renovated building provides a modern and comfortable viewing experience. Visitors appreciate the well-curated exhibits and the historical significance of the collection. However, some find the museum relatively small and wish for more detailed information about certain pieces. The audio guide is helpful but not comprehensive for all exhibits. While the museum offers a valuable cultural experience, some visitors feel the entrance fee is a bit high for the size of the collection. Overall, the Princes Czartoryski Museum is a worthwhile stop for art enthusiasts and those interested in Polish cultural heritage, though it may not require an extensive visit.
