The Presley Norton Museum is housed in the Villa Rosa Herlinda mansion, which was once the home of Ismael Pérez Pazmiño, the founder of the newspaper El Universo. The mansion was constructed between 1936 and 1940, under the design of Spanish architect Joaquín Pérez Nin de Cardona.
